A message from the Director:

 

I am looking forward to working with local business, government and academic institutions in the Falmouth, MA area to provide public education on marine ecological issues and to help develop new ecotourism opportunities.  META is in the formative stages and will begin operations this summer.  During this first year, I expect to develop classroom curricula and set up the classroom, aquaria and technology exhibit areas.  Due to META’s research commitments this summer, I expect to offer only limited public opportunities, but hope to greatly expand efforts in this area during the fall 2008 and summer 2009.
